  • What is AAHA Accreditation?

    AAHA is the only organization that accredits veterinary practices in the United States and Canada. Practices that accept the challenge of accreditation are evaluated on stringent quality standards that encompass all aspects of veterinary medicine—from pain management and patient care to team training and medical recordkeeping—and are continuously updated to keep accredited practice teams at the forefront of the profession.

    Today, only 12%–15% of veterinary practices in the US and Canada hold the “AAHA-accredited” designation.

  • What is Fear Free Certification?

    Fear Free is a way of interacting with pets that minimizes fear, anxiety, and stress. From our hospital design to the yummy treats in the exam room, all of your pet's senses and comforts have been kept in mind. 

    Is your pet showing signs of stress before you even leave the house? Our trained professionals are here to assist you from the beginning with those apprehensive trips to the vet. 

  • What are wellness plans?

    Our wellness plans are comprehensive annual healthcare packages. These may be customized to fit your pet's specific needs. With the option to make monthly payments, your pet will receive the best preventative care, while being gentle on the budget!

  • When is payment due?

    Payment is due at the time of service. Deposits may be required for certain services.


  • Do you offer payment plans?

    We accept a variety of payment options. If you are in need of a payment plan, we accept the following: 

    • Care Credit - This is a healthcare credit card. To see if you qualify, please visit www.carecredit.com or call 1-800-677-0718. 
    • Scratchpay - You may apply online at www.scratchpay.com, by texting PAY to 213-296-0817, or by calling 855-727-2395. 
  • Do you accept walk-ins?

    We do accept walk-ins! However, there may be an extended wait time, as scheduled appointments are completed. 


    We encourage you to call ahead, especially if your pet needs urgent attention, so that we may adequately prepare for your arrival.  

  • What is your policy for medication refills?

    • To ensure the safety of your pet, long term medications may require annual bloodwork before refilling or approving prescription requests. Certain medications such as seizure medications, insulin, or medications for Cushing's disease may require additional lab work. 
    • In accordance with the American Heartworm Society guidelines, heartworm prevention will be refilled or approved with an annual negative heartworm test.
    • A valid veterinarian-patient-client relationship must be present before medications are dispensed. This means a physical exam within the last year needs to be on file before refilling medications. New patients will need to establish care with and be evaluated by one of our providers before they may write a prescription for your pet.
