TimberCreek's Story

Dr. Paige Andersen and Dr. Kelly Lechtenberg are the founders of TimberCreek Veterinary Hospital. This father-daughter duo are Nebraska natives who both graduated from Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine. TimberCreek Veterinary Hospital is a mixed animal practice located on the east side of Manhattan. The hospital's focus is on companion animal medicine (dogs, cats, and horses).

Dr. Lechtenberg has dedicated his career to the enhancement of animal health and the people who care for them. Over the past 20 years, he has created several different businesses to support his mission including Midwest Veterinary Services, Central States Research Center, Veterinary Biomedical Research Center, and Logan Valley Feeders.

Dr. Andersen grew up around her dad's research center playing "pig ambulance," helping in the laboratory, and learning as much as she could about animal care and public health.
Dr. Lechtenberg used to joke with his daughter about opening a "cat practice" together after graduating veterinary school. Dr. Andersen held him to his word. That day came in the summer of 2016 and TimberCreek Veterinary Hospital was born.

TimberCreek Veterinary Hospital is a mixed animal practice that prides itself on high quality, compassionate care.  Dr. Andersen and Dr. Lechtenberg look forward to serving the community and their pets in a positive, supportive atmosphere.
